Sharon's Experience:
After graduating from Penn State University, Sharon enjoyed teaching elementary school for several years. Upon the birth of her first child, Sharon retired from teaching. Over the next several years, Sharon moved from one state to another as her husband was transferred. This experience gave her an extensive understanding of the trauma a family may go through when relocating especially with school age children. She quickly learned how to fly into an area, do research on local schools, neighborhoods, lifestyle, etc. and within a few days, successfully select the perfect home for her family. Sharon also mastered the art of presenting her home in a fashion that readily attracted willing and able buyers, thus speeding up the entire moving process.
Becoming a real estate agent in 1985 just seemed to be the perfect match of Sharon’s interests and skills based on her personal experiences. Through the years Sharon has sold residential, commercial and estate properties and has been recognized state wide for her outstanding performance. She has consistently achieved “Top Producer” recognition for her work and has recently received her company’s “Outstanding Producer” award. In addition, Sharon’s numerous certifications allow her to better serve the needs of her clients. She is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a "professional designation of residential specialty, the highest in the country", and a GRI (Graduate Realtors' Institute).

When not listing or selling real estate, researching marketing trends, and keeping abreast of technological changes that will assist the buyers and sellers she represents, Sharon refuels her energy by playing golf and gardening. One of her most recent personal accomplishments was becoming a PADI Certified SCUBA DIVER. Sharon is a wife and mother of two daughters (one who is married and recently received a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and the other is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and currently works as a brand marketing manager in North Carolina.)
